Hello, I'm Bridget

I am an independent autism/ADHD specialist working with families, young people, schools and professionals.

I have more than 25 years' experience of working with autistic and ADHD individuals, and in encouraging understanding, acceptance and celebration of autistic/ADHD identity and authenticity through bespoke mentoring, training and consultancy.

I also have many years' experience of supporting parents in navigation of processes relating to their child or young person's Special Educational Needs, particularly with regard to elements such as SEN Support in schools and Education, Health and Care Plans.

I am comprehensively trained in SEN law through the Council for Disabled Children and hold a Master's degree in autism from Sheffield Hallam University. In addition to my formal training and professional knowledge, my practice draws on my own lived experience as an autistic/ADHD individual and parent of neurodivergent children.

I am committed to continuous professional development, and am particularly interested in the emergence of understanding and knowledge from research undertaken in participation with neurodivergent individuals.

I am passionate about all things autistic and ADHD, and dedicated to promoting positive emotional wellbeing and positive life outcomes for neurodivergent people, young or old.

My aim is to celebrate living life Outside The Box
